Materials to Keep

  1. Success contract -These are found in the Student/Parent Handbook. During your first or second orientation meeting discuss the Ambassadorial expectations with your delegation.

A parent and student must both sign and submit the contract. Carry the contracts with you as they can be used to remind students of the expectations they agreed to meet.

  2. Photocopies of all student and leader passports - a copy for leaders to carry during travel, a copy for the student to carry, and a copy for the parents.

  3. Original health form for every student and leader in the delegation - Just like a field trip permission form, these are carried by leaders during travel in case of medical emergencies.

  4. Waivers - Activities on some itineraries require waivers to be signed in order for the student to participate. If waivers are required, they will be sent in your Travel Gear mailing, 7 weeks prior to departure. If waivers are needed for your delegation, you must have them signed by students’ parent(s) and carry them with you on the journey. No waiver means no participation in the activity. This is not negotiable. Please go to the Program Specifc resources section to view waivers by itinerary.

  5. Interview Questionnaires - Hold on to these forms for all accepted delegates until travel is complete and destroy the paper work after the journey. (Leaders do not need to carry questionnaires during travel.)
