People to People brings over 50 years of global expertise to every program.

Since 1956, the People to People organization has enabled Student Ambassadors to journey to 34 countries on all seven continents. Over the decades, we've gained a deep understanding of the culture, politics and history of our destination countries.

We will share this experience with your child during the four two-hour orientation meetings that lead up to the delegation departure date.

Student Ambassadors get everything they need to know before they go.

People to People Destination Guides provide an overview of the places you will experience on your program. In addition, online Explore Before You Go modules provide comprehensive, destination-specific course work regarding culture, history, surroundings, and government. Student Ambassador Certification prepares students for travel through online coursework regarding how to pack, what to pack, airport procedures, accommodations, etc.

The Student Protocol provides detailed information on preparing for a successful program such as applying for a passport, phoning home during the journey, staying healthy, and much more. Parents receive their version of the Protocol so they can support your efforts and activities.
